Zum Bauernwirt in Zirndorf

We ordered something to pick up on Sunday evening. We were able to come by after just twenty minutes, despite special requests. The Schäufele was delicious, unfortunately not that fresh. The crust was too hard to eat and the meat on the outside a bit harder. Inside, however, it was pink. I suspect it was made for noon. We ordered fried potatoes with the cordon bleu, although this combination is not on the menu. Everything worked out wonderfully. The portions really more, very large / a lot! You can bring your own pots / bowls, great for the environment 👍🏼 Unfortunately there is a strong smell of fat, even if you are only there for a short time to be picked up.

We had various dishes delivered on the first holiday. The delivery arrived on time. Fortunately, our concerns about whether the food is still warm enough have proven to be unfounded. All of the dishes were VERY delicious and everyone was completely satisfied with the portion size. We will definitely have something delivered again. However, we are already looking forward to going to eat THERE again.

Unfortunately we are invited there every now and then and are not always satisfied. The carp was ok, the schnitzel warmed up! Nothing vegetarian to choose from. A little more frequent toilet visits today ... 😕

One time is enough. Food was not hot when served and came at different times. We and our three guests could not eat together. No thanks once is enough. Had eaten better. Eating mediocre but that's a matter of taste.

The food under Italian management in the farmer is good, there is good bourgeois German cuisine. The only handicap is the carp (price medium size 16.60 euros), unfortunately it only has a thin flour coating without taste which is a shame. see image.
